Twine is a tool for making interactive fiction. This can span from “choose your own adventure” stories to text-based games, or anything else you can think of. ANYTHING.
It’s free, so you can download it here. It’s quite easy to use and there are many guides and tips around the internet which I’ve found immensely useful.
‘Super.’ is my first and so far only Twine thing. It is a short piece which I wrote after thinking to myself “All of the superhero stories I can think of are stories about violence solving problems”. I wanted to write a story where the plot did not revolve around the superhero using their superpowers to save the day. Instead the plot revolves around a superhero being sort of moody and thinking about things.
